Meet the team

Nola Walters

General Manager

Nola originates from Te Whanganui a Tara (Wellington), and relocated to Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), in 2011. Nola whakapapa’s back to Tainui and she is currently on a journey to reconnect to her cultural identity.

Nola has extensive experience recruiting in the professional services, commercial and industrial recruitment sectors, and has built a strong personal brand over the years.

She has a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and with her substantial experience in people management, along with her invaluable experience to look at the bigger picture, she heads our Mana People Team.

She has a strong desire to help people who want to be successful in their chosen directions and is driven to deliver results for her clients and candidates.

She would love for our rangatahi to believe in themselves, to feel assured that they do matter, and that they are wanted and needed to help make Aotearoa and our planet a better place in the future.

Rachael Trudgeon

Candidate Manager

Rachael is born & bred in Te Whanganui a Tara (Wellington) and is very proud of her Tainui whakapapa. 

As a mother of four tamariki, Rachael has learnt the importance of nurturing, caring, and guiding our rangatahi to be the best they possibly can be. 

Rachael is an experienced Candidate Manager with over 6 years within the Recruitment Industry. She prides herself of building connections with others, supporting candidates throughout the journey and matching them to the workplace/job that best fits their career aspirations. 

Lachlan Sloan

Director

Lachlan was born in Wellington & raised in Auckland. His whānau whakapapa went back to Iva, Savaii, and Samoa on his mother’s side and Scotland on his father’s side.

Lachlan is the proud father of four tamariki, of which his youngest two boys are both autistic with a global developmental delay. Raising his whānau has emphasised the age-old mantra that it “takes a village to raise a child”

Lachlan has extensive recruitment experience in New Zealand and Asia, where he spent 15 years working between Hong Kong and Singapore. He has owned and operated a number of recruitment businesses in his career and delivered multimillion-dollar large-scale recruitment for some of the world’s largest organisations.

Resty Ongoco

Recruitment Support

Resty is Mana's outsourced team lead, born and raised in the Philippines. He is a proud Filipino, capable of adapting to other cultures through his sense of friendliness and open-mind approach.

He is a proud father to two stepchildren and his youngest, with whom he shared caring and protection with his lovely wife, Shara. He grew up with a stepdad himself, he has always believed that a family is more than blood relations. The core that creates a family are emotions, unconditional love, genuine care and an unyielding will to protect the children, which hold the strongest foundation of a family.

Resty is a seasoned professional with 14 years of experience in different fields of the Business Process Outsourcing industry and virtual environments. An expert in people and project management, problem-solving, quality control and compliance, developmental coaching, customer service, recruitment and executive services. A team player who works with minimum supervision and delivers outstanding results with a high sense of professionalism and integrity.
